    Thanks - very cool.

My wife has been watching some of the live streams from the Melbourne zoo to help break the lockdown boredom.
Gets on the phone to one of our daughters or grandkids and they watch it together for a while.

Thanks for that. We have something similar under our verandah over the kitchen window, a pair of nesting doves. So far raised about a dozen sets of little ones. They tried to nest in SWMBO's little green house, so was asked to put up a platform, sticks kept falling off, so a little wicker basket was found and substituted. Not as exciting I know but none the less.

comentry says camera can be rotated via remote access and appears they have raised chicks up their before.
they actually thought they had lost a chick but a worker in another building spotted it sitting on the camera..hahaha

She is sitting on 3 eggs (last i saw) and incubation is around 30 to 32 days...so around very late Sept very early Oct we should have a few new falcon GT's.

I used to enjoy lots of birds on my lawn(s) but the neighbour's cat comes in and kills what it can. After ~ 3 years there aren't many that visit now! Any suggestions on how to get rid of this feline would be great.

    Hi Charles

A trap baited with sardines seems to work well enough for me.

The cat is taken to the council animal pound and they take care of it.

The cat is either euthanised or re homed but has to be speyed and registered.

Most municipalities don't condone owners who don't look after their animals and this is the unfortunate result.

The cats I catch( about 4 a year) do not even have collars.

Put a couple of layers of card board on the bottom of the trap as cats do not like to walk over the uneven surface of the wire mesh.
I started to do this after I had a cat enter my house and terrorized my caged cockatiel.

Thanks Graham, I'll think about your suggestion.
The Council is 45 Km away and a 45 min trip with a cat yowling and peeing in my car might be a problem. I could drag the trap behind the car though!

Looks like the eggs might be hatching. Seems to be some bit of broken shell there.
