    Hi Steven,

Something has changed ! I can no longer drag pictures about in a post to change their order.
    Everything else seems OK.

Running Linux Q4OS, with Trinity desktop and Firefox ESR.
Now on Sunday Firefox was/has just been updated so that could have changed things.

    HTH.
    Best Regards:

    Interesting....

Now 3 with a problem. 2 using Linux 1 with an I Thing and one on Windows 7 (shudder).

Can you all give us a bit more info.

As much as you can give would be helpful.

    • Desk top / laptop/ notepad or other
    • Brnd or brands
    • Opperating System eg: Windows (version) Ipad, Phone, etc (versions)
    • Search engine(s) tried with or without any luck
    • Type and size of pics trying to upload. .gig, .jpg, .png, other.

Any or better still all the above might help.

    Cheers - Neil

    Browsers Chrome and Firefox

    "Insert Image"
Using Chrome, did not get as far as the photos. Clicking on the greyed out "Choose Files" locked the screen and had to log out to clear.
Using Firefox same, except screen not locked, but no browse facility available.
Using Chrome to try to post from a URL and trying to post Steven's tricycle picture I get "invalid attachment".
Using Firefox to try to post from a URL and trying to post Steven's tricycle picture I get "invalid attachment".

"Manage Attachments" using Firefox seems to be working "sort of". I can drag my old images down to the uploading section, and clicking on "Browse" takes me to one, and only one folder in the pictures library (not the one I want). Maybe this is my fault - I still find the Windows filing system a bit of a mystery.

Sorry, I have run out of time. Will try to get back to this tomorrow.

    Frank.

If upload tab is grayed out it should go white and work when you mouse over it.

Just my thought, but it seems like something at your end may have changed and upped security to stop you uploading or accessing your computer or internet to upload or download graphics.

Just a thought but as it appears to be all at your end it's the best thought I can offer, Maybe someone else may have more of an idea.

Other than that, I'm afraid I've got nothing.

    As above, using Chrome:
    CGA_Cockpit.jpg
Works, but many attempts needed to find the right file. It only wanted to open an irrelevant file to browse, and no other

    "Manage Attachments"
Using Chrome: Had to choose a different image: the previous one had automatically been added to the previously posted files after using "Insert Image" in the previous post. There were no problems here either, so it seems that something is taking exception mainly to the combination of Windows 7 and Chrome. This did not happen last time I posted photos some time ago.

Something strange did happen four or five days after Microsoft's end of support date for Windows 7. On a start or restart this computer defaults to Linux. I left the computer logged onto Windows the previous night, and found it logged on to Linux the next morning. On restarting to get back to Windows I got a message that Windows had been updated. I probably would not have seen this if the computer had not defaulted to Linux after the Windows "update". Surely Microsoft would not have altered something to make Win7 less usable???? Would they?

I won't bother going through this again with the second computer unless anyone should see a good reason to do so since it no longer has a usable copy Win7 installed: I am fairly confident that it will be OK.

    Hi Guys,

I've just been and posted some pictures in my "Brooks TCG" thread. The other day I was unable to drag the pictures around to change the order. Today its back to working as it was. There was a "Python" update last night, since that is the only thing that has changed at this end, I'm going to blame "Python".
