    Default Graham. Michael.

Graham and Michael, you're strange men if you take offence to something that has been reported on every TV and radio channel for the last few days, don't you watch/listen to the news? Do yourself a favour and read the paper occasionally.

If you have a problem with reported news, take it up with the different channels.

Let's look at this logically, non Muslim Australians currently breed at a rate that is below the level required to maintain the population numbers as they now stand. On the other hand Muslims are reported to be having anything up to eight children, nothing wrong with that but, where do you think the christian/Muslim population numbers are headed

This is the general forum, you know where you post such things as cats, dogs, harmonicas, trumpets, voting, rice flour, Shorten, Palmer.

Gee, you're an abusive lot aren't you?

It is a general forum but there's no room here for this sort of thing go post it somewhere else.
How do you know my best friends are not muslims or for that matter I am not a muslim and have taken offence at your racist comments?

Another one that doesn't watch the news. You don't know what you're missing. Good way to find out whats going on away from your back yard.

Religion is not a race. Not that I have a dollar in the debate, but I feel the R word does get thrown around a bit too liberally in this day and age and can be used to shut down legitimate discussion.

It is more intolerance, and if there is one thing I can not tolerate it is intolerance.

The topic was surely one that had the ability to polarize people. Shortly after that that comes the name calling and bad feeling. There are another venues for expressing heartfelt opinion on those matters , but not here.

Metal WorkForums are a privately owned Forum and we are here by the good grace of the owner who encourages lots of other posters to join.Potential members won't join or stay with us when they see this sort of stuff.
The rules have been framed to reflect this. while they may not be perfect it is not difficult to understand the intention.

However the quickest way to bugger up a forum is to allow this stuff to take root. You don't see online argument and fights of any significance on other similar forums because the mods on it and quickly and quietly remove such posts.

Of course we all have our own opinion but posting it here, is subject to the Rules of the Forum and the generally its the same with the other similar successful long term Forums similar to ours.

If a poster can't be bothered to read the rules when they join or at least before they post, they deserve what follows when what they post something that is contrary to said rules.

The former member now has the opportunity to seek another online place to voice his opinion. But not here!

    Topic is now closed
