50mm square elbows and tees
As the title suggests, I'm after some parts, being for a woodwork project. Can't find any on the net so I suppose they will need to be fabricated from square stock. Stainless would be nice but ally will do the job. Anyone interested or able to give recommendations?

Hi Tiprat,
I don't know if it helps, but here in the UK Lidl are doing a whole range of metal brackets for wood jointing and the like ! Quite cheap in my opinion, $3.0 (New keyboard, no pound sign. read pounds)
Rubbish keyboard ! I took it back this morning and got my money back. I bought a new "SilverCrest" one at Lidl for £10.00. This one has a much nicer feel and has the magic "£" symbol.Best Regards:

Any chance of a sketch with some dimensions on it, please?
Otherwise it's like asking how long is the string.
Can look at doing them in Aluminium for you, once I've an idea of your request.

I just realised where you're located, and postage / freight could be prohibitive.
If you could submit a sketch with details sizes etc, someone closer by may offer to help.
I don't have a scanner, but what I do, is take a pic of the sketch with my camera, download it then add it to the post/reply. I don't even have a mobile that has all the fancy stuff that they can do, just a plain old Nokia, and I have trouble using that!!!!

I took a pic on my old camera and discovered that the new computer does not have a slot to insert the card! So got my daughter to take a pic on her phone and email it to me so I could download it and then attach to this post. Anyway, I'll be in Burra hopefully from March and I don't think postage will be excessive. See what you think...

Thanks for the pic, so basically the pieces will be 100mm X 100mm over all size?
There are still a lot of questions remaining.
Will the metal need to be square on the edge, or can it be radiused?
What happens to them once you get them, will they be screwed/bolted through the wood into the tube, or from the tube into the wood. What is the thickness of the material, 1mm 1.6mm 5mm?
Will something be slid inside it, if anything, asking as the ends are left open?
What is the intended use of these pieces, to act as a spacer, or support a shelf?
Do the welds need to be ground back or can they be left as is?
How many of each piece is required?
What weight is anticipated to be supported?
The more information that we can get, makes it a lot easier for all, otherwise it's like pulling teeth, and no one may be interested in helping you. Sorry, but it would be like me, asking you to make me a shelf????????????
Do you have a link to what you're trying to make please??? Just to give us some idea, as there may be a better way etc.

One thing Kryn has not asked - how many of each type are you looking for?

There are still a lot of questions remaining. I'll do the best I can to answer them.
Thanks for the pic, so basically the pieces will be 100mm X 100mm over all size? Yes
Will the metal need to be square on the edge, or can it be radiused? Square is best, can also handle radiused.
Will something be slid inside it, if anything, asking as the ends are left open? Yes, the timber components will slide into the open ends.
What happens to them once you get them, will they be screwed/bolted through the wood into the tube, or from the tube into the wood. Probably a screw or pin through the sides into the wood inside.
What is the thickness of the material, 1mm 1.6mm 5mm? 1.6mm should be fine.
What is the intended use of these pieces, to act as a spacer, or support a shelf? They are substitutes for timber joints. See later picture.
Do the welds need to be ground back or can they be left as is? Probably ground back is best, I can do that, but I'm not a welder.
How many of each piece is required? 4, see picture.
What weight is anticipated to be supported? Will support small coffee table.
Do you have a link to what you're trying to make please? No links, just my own ideas and design, as far as I know.

Thanks for the pic of what you're trying to achieve, it now gives a better idea as to what is required.
Making it shouldn't be a problem at all, will see what I can find in the way of materials.
Will contact you with a price for it all, sometime during the week.
