Hi Tom,
When I wanted a set of outside jaws for a 150 mm chuck I found it almost impossible to buy any at a reasonable price. I discovered that I could buy a set of new soft jaws for a fraction of the cost. I modified some 100 mm PB soft jaws so that I could screw replacement aluminium pieces on them. It might be the way to go.

Thanks guys,
The soft jaws should suit my needs as the chuck will be used on a welding rotator as opposed to machining.
If I installed a good set they would most likely get wrecked quickly.
Thanks Tom.
