Default WTB Hercus 260 ER32 collet chuck

Does anyone have a Hercus 260 ER32 collet chuck they wish to sell? Prefer Adelaide area, but will consider interstate.

    Thanks,
    Wally

If you get one of these: https://tinyurl.com/2p8eye8u

    and one of these: https://australianmetalworkinghobbyi...product_id=285

you can combine them with some careful fitting to your own particular lathe.

It's said to be a more accurate thing than a pre-made one piece chuck, or a two piece made for another lathe.

There may be size options that you can research.

Or you can put an ER collet holder on a Morse taper shank into the spindle. Doesn’t allow your stock to go through the collet holder though, works well for small parts.

A Morse taper chuck would be alright, as long as it has a threaded end for a long bolt through the spindle.
It's a bit more fiddly to use compared to one that screws directly to the chuck mount thread.
But accuracy should be good "off the shelf", as long as it's made properly, and it would be interchangeable between lathes with the same spindle taper - assuming they are also made properly.

    Default Straight shank collet chuck

I use a straight shank ER33 collet chuck in my 4 jaw chuck.
It may be impractical in a chuck smaller than 150mm because of stick out.
    But it works for me.
