Default 8 Inch rotary table and ISO 40 to MT4 adapter

    Hello all

I am after a 8 inch rotary table. I have a 6 inch Indian ebay special and it must have been made the day before the Diwali holiday. It looks like a rotary table and sort of works like one. I am in SEQLD but am happy to have one posted if it is a fair price.

I know it is a long shot. I would consider a ten inch if yours is getting to heavy.

I am also after a ISO 40 to MT4 adapter or ISO 40 mill tooling. I purchased a second hand mill (Kondia) and hope to have it running in the next few weeks. I needed to adapt a new motor and it required me to use my rotary table shaped device that drove home the point I need a decent rotary table.

    Thanks

    Steve

    Steve,
I have a Kondia FV-1 with NT30 spindle, and a 10 inch rotary table with dividing plates.
As I am running with CNC, the RT has never been used and is certainly too heavy for me anyway, so is on the list to be moved on.
But, I am located in western Sydney.
Let me know if you are interested and I will get some photos.

What model Kondia is yours ?

    Keep well,
    John.

    Hello John,

    Thanks for the reply.
My Mill is a Kondia FV-1 Seial number Q638. In big writing it is called a Powermill Kondia.
I purchased it from a school in Toowoomba and the original motor was burnt out. Apparently they purchased it from Melbourne.
It is in reasonable good condition but just needs some love and attention. Something the manual arts teachers were not good at.

I would be interested in the 10 inch rotary table. I will be making a rolling cabinet to store the rotary table and vice on. The plan is to roll it next to the mill and slide the rotary table or vice as required. I am a young pup at 50 and this is my first full sized mill. I am watching how my dad is aging and thinking I need to plan for getting older. That is having the equipment I want and having a way I can use it.

My list of projects are a 1948 Indian, 1941 Chev truck (it was our old farm truck) and then a vintage style bike of my own creation.

Please let me know how much you would like for it. I can look into options to get it up here.

Thanks again. I like your sign off (keep well). It is very relevant for us all.

    Steve
