Smaller milling machine Deckel/Arboga/Hercus etc
If anyone is upgrading from a smaller machine and has something in the size range of a Hercus/Adcock 0 to a Deckel FP1 please get in touch.
I currently have a 2008 model HAFCO HM45 (RF45 clone) that I'd like to replace with something a little more sturdy, and is universal.
I cant do anything bigger than an FP1, I have neither the equipment to, nor interest in moving anything larger, and even if I did something the size of an FP1 is going to be tight in the space available.
Anyone out there have the unicorn for sale?

While looking for something else a few days ago I noticed: Standaco in Braeside, Vic mention a "Deckyl" mill available as a used machine - see Used Machinery « Product Categories « Standaco
It's just a mention - no photo or other info as to model.
Cheers,
Bill

Thanks, Standaco is now QMT, I suspect the web page hasn’t been updated for some time.

OK - didnt realise the Standaco site was a out of date.
I checked the QMT site and it's interesting. They list something I thought I'd never see in Oz - a Voest "radial drill", apparently a take-off of the Oerlikon UB2 portable drilling/milling/boring machine ( Oerlikon UB2 ) for which a decent size coordinate table was available.
Could be wicked in the shed, but then again so is the price.

When you find the "UNICORN" I'd be interested in the HM45, when ever you're ready to part with it.
I missed out on a Bridgeport a couple of weeks ago, told him Id take it and pick it up early the following week, he said OK, when I went around on the Tuesday to collect it, he'd already sold it to someone else!!!!! I was P****D OFF!!!!!
