Default Two Small 3 phase Motors - NSW

I am after 2 x 3 phase motors about 1 - 2kw. I am thinking of building two linishers shown in the video if the budget is reasonable.

Not sure what size belt you are intending to run but my experience is that 3/4Hp is going to be too light for a 50 mm wide belt.
My small Linisher has a 50mm wide belt and a 1HP motor and it's still relatively easy to bog down.

A well designed linishers like a Radius Master uses a 2HP 2880 rpm motor for a 50 mm belt.
Its spec says 3000 fpm for belt speed which means it must be using about a 4" drum.
If the linisher is to be used for heavy grinding even better would be ~4500 fpm
This could be achieved with a 6" drum or a VFD.

If a 1440 rpm motor is used, to reach 3000 fpm with a 4" drum and a VFD means operating at 100Hz, while 4500 fpm means 137Hz, in this zone standard 3P motor will loose considerable power
A 2880 rpm motor will reach 4500 fpm at about 75Hz - well within the original motor spec HP.

    Chris the other 2 I have are 1/2HP, 1425rpm, B56 frame, Y connection, class E insulation, cont rating, 5/8" & 3/4" shafts.
The large shaft one has a slightly different cast body , it has a half flange mounting.

Thanks for taking the time to look for me but I will pass on them.
