Default S16 repco power precision surface grinder service/operating manual

I wish to buy/borrow/hire a operating/service manual and hydraulic schematic drawings for this machine.
I purchased this machine from Whyalla steel mills and have restored it but I cannot get the hydraulics to work properly. can any one please help.

The 1st thing i would do is check that the pump is running the correct direction.

Thank you for your reply but have already checked that ,the problem seems to be in the hydraulic control side, hence the reason I need a hydraulics drawing.

Default S16 repco power surfase grinder

Hi snap trap, I have replied but must have put it in the wrong place.
When I started the machine the piston for the cross slide had sheared off the shaft,I made a new shaft and re pinned the piston, started the hydraulic motor - the cross slide would move L and R with a few seconds delay at the end of each stroke. the speed control and L and R controls appear to be functioning but slow. The grinder in\out slide does not work at all, there is oil flowing through the hydraulic motor and I can
change the direction of flow with the change over control. I removed the hydraulic motor and connected it to a power pack and it works fine, I tried reducing the bypass at the main hydraulic pump, the cross slide increased speed dramatically - too fast and the hydraulics became noisy . this machine has a hand wheel that when it is pushed in the slide can be moved manually , when I pulled the hand wheel out the machine became noisy and the hydraulic pump motor cut out on overload.
I am reluctant to start pulling the hydraulic controls apart without a diagram to show how it works.
I hope I have described things adequately and you are able to help.
I look forward to hearing from you.
    Regards.
    Ray Mitchell.
