The 250-100 piston tool posts can be had quite readily from most of the online suppliers for around $70. Tool holders available from the same places starting around $25 and going north depending on the purpose.
The 250-111 Wedge style tool posts are pretty much unobtainium in Aus at the moment. I’ve just bought one and after looking extensively through Australian based retailers ordered through a US supplier because they actually had stock. The tool post was around $110 and there was about $50 of freight and import costs on top. More than I would have liked to paid, but that’s what happens when supply chains get disrupted to level they have been this year.

I put a piston type on my last lathe. Didn’t like it, despite it not ever once coming loose, it just never felt like it was engaged fully. I haven’t fitted the wedge to my Hercus yet, haven’t received it yet. I have used them on other people’s machines and they feel more solid when locking the holder in place. Personal preference I guess.
