6" Rotary table.
I have the $345 that General Tools want for a Vertex HV6 but before I pull the trigger I was wondering if there was anything about that might be more interesting out there. My mill is small so 6" is as big as I could go.

There might be; others might comment. There will be cheaper versions, but for what it's worth, I have a Vertex HV6 and have been happy with it. I also bought the dividing plates and tail stock. I made a mounting plate so I could mount a 3 jaw chuck on it. That improved versatility a lot. All been used a lot. Not being able angle the table hasn't been an issue for me, but it all depends on what job comes up I suppose. Good luck with your purchase. Cheers, Tony

FWIW I also have a Vertex HV6 (the older version with four T slots which I personally prefer) and have been completely happy with it. I also have the dividing plates and Vertex tail stock. The quality of this Vertex tail stock - bought separately from the rotary table - is not up to the standard of my other Vertex tooling. Maybe I was just unlucky. The rotary table is a very versatile item of tooling: having owned one I wouldn't be without it.
I have made a mount for a 4 1/2 inch 3 jaw chuck, and have a 6" front mounting 4 jaw chuck which mounts directly on the table using the table's T slots. Both can be used with the R/T in either the vertical or horizontal position.
Also have made a 190 mm diameter plate which can be mounted using the table's T slots when the table is in the horizontal position. This can also be mounted on the lathe faceplate. It is drilled with a pattern of M8 tapped holes to give more alternatives for clamping small, odd shaped or oversized (for the R/T's diameter) objects, and can be transferred between the lathe and mill without disturbing workpiece setups if necessary.
