Wanting to Swap
I have a straight edge that I would like to swap.
It's made by "The Wing Gauge and Instrument Co." In Melbourne in 1958.
It's 6' (1820mm) long and approx. 80mm wide.
The surface has some scratches on it but I have checked it on a surface plate and it spots up reasonably flat.
Ideally I would like to swap for a smaller SE if anyone out there has a need or want for one like this. A 900mm SE with a dovetail would be ideal. A straight swap or if money needs to change hands then happy to negotiate.
Realistically the SE I want does not need to be in top condition, in fact even a casting would be considered as I can scrape it myself.
In terms of transport, depending on where you live, I can deliver within reason. Once again happy to discuss if the right SE presents itself.
Cheers.
Simon
