Default GMF Maxi 250 end cover.

I am looking for the end of guard from a GMF Maxi 250 grinder. It is for the grinder in this photo which it isn't the best to show that one end cover is missing.

Obviously I will pay postage and for the part.

Give dimensional details, and I'll have a look in my junk pile.

I have a set of 8" bench grinder end covers ( Not GMF) If they are close to specs posted they are yours for the postage.

I have a Guard and end for an 8" A&A, if that helps.

Hi Grahame, KB PensNmore and Nadroj

The outside diameter of the guard cover is around 310mm. I will be very very happy if one of you guys have something that can be made to fit.

Will have a look in the morning to see what sie it is, if it's too small, I'll drop a bit of sheet metal in, to make one.

It's my answer to most things, but yes, that shape is not too difficult to replicate.

That goes without saying but only if I can't rescue a part which would languish unused otherwise.

I measured my spare guard. It was 250mm OD x 40mm deep.

Mine are about 250mm diameter too.
I guess some sheet metal could be added to increase it?
