    Default Macson surface grinder table

I'd like to find a replacement for the missing single slotted table from a small Macson surface grinder.
It's fastened with four screws, and goes between the X slide and magnetic chuck.

I could measure mine up and you could get one made.

Might be easier to get a block of cast and machine one up. I know it won't be original, but after a couple of coats of different paint and chipped back, who's going to know.
Getting one cast would probably cost an arm and a leg, whereas you could possibly get a block of scrap cast for $20.00 from a scrap dealer.

    Thanks for the thoughts.
Just worth a shot at seeing if any are out there, perhaps from a defunct machine.

Thanks, can you please tell me the thickness and T slot dimensions?
Other details I can work out from what's here.

    Dimensions in attached image.

Will you be using the original 3 phase motor? If not, I am looking for one. Obviously there would be a cash inducement.

    Thanks for the measurements.

Yes, I'll keep the 3 phase McColl motor that looks to be the standard fitment.
I'm told surface grinder motors can be "specials" with better balance etc.
Gotta give my expensive rotary phase converter something to do.

Would you mind taking a photo or two of the motor and the cast bracket fixed to it? I am trying to organize something that looks original so any info would help also a picture of the motor plate itself would be useful in my search for possible replacements.

Thanks, that is exactly what I need. I have the bracket that bolts onto the main body but not the part that bolts to the motor.
