Need to buy some steel for a bench so will get that and use for gantry, then cut up for bench later when lathe is under house. Been sick for two weeks and not better yet so may be a little while yet.
As for engine cranes, I have no need for it if both pallet lifters are working. The small one will do what I want for now and takes up lot less space than an engine crane.Nev.

I'm squashed for space honestly with so many machines and tool chests in a 3.6x7m shop.
My engine crane is dismantled and stored under our split level home balancing on the bearers between floor joists.
One thin pallet jack is under the carport and the other wide standard one is out the back under cover.
The gantry is out the side of the house in the weather that I need to take care of soon, lol
