    Default Surface grinder table stops

A few months ago I made a dresser for my surface grinder, as I did not have table stops I could not use it.
So I finally got around to making the stops.
Stock used was 1020 round bar 38mm for the bodies and 19mm for the T nuts.

    Default Dresser

Damn! I now realize the sockets milled for the holding bolts will fill up with grinding dust.

    Hello Mark, Guys,

Nice work on those stops !

As far as grinding dust filling the recesses, cut a couple of strips of silicon baking sheet and use double sided tape to attach it to the very top edge. It will hang down over the recesses and give them some protection.

I use silicon baking sheets to protect the lathe ways under the chuck. One end is fastened to the top slide the other just has a couple of magnets holding it in place. Its draped so that it covers the leadscrew as well.
    Best Regards:
    Baron J.
