Great idea Steve, This is how forums should work, collective ideas for continual improvement. I’ve just retired and my last role had me managing a workshop with 38 tradies, I always promoted the sharing ideas principle we were far stronger as the team than 38 individuals. Pretty happy with he layout of the garage I build it as a triple but only have a double door on one side, this gives me room for the mill and the lathe the fitting bench tool boxes and cupboards and I can use these with out having to move the cars out. Move the cars out and using the multi purpose stand I have a full 6X6 meters of workshop for larger fabrication jobs. Luckily both our cars are not big so there is still room for the welding table behind my car with room left to walk behind it comfortably. Hopefully I will have the wood working shed finished soon and can move all the wood working machines out of the garage, the sparks and the sawdust just don’t get on with each other. Thanks for all the comments and ideas.
