The Garrett TPE331 parts are cheap to buy so got some spares parts that we will need for the engine build. I sent the NGV and turbine wheel up to John so he could do some calculations and machine the turbine wheel.

Machine up a dummy shaft, had to work out the speeds and feed rate to get rid of the vibration. Going to use ball bearings instead of journal bearings, the ball bearings will ceramic ball bearings, got a couple of cheap angular contact bearings for test fit will have to grind the inner race a bit so i can fit the ceramic balls in.

Ha ha!! looks like that will be me I have some heating oil that i can use these things can run on just about any type of fuel. This engine will have a different type of fuel delivery system, it won't have vaporizer tubes like the micro turbines use. I'll be using small spray nozzles that will spray the fuel down the flame tube about 18 nozzles i think.

The fuel won't cost that much guys . John Wallis use a diesel petrol mix in his engine works very well cheaper that kerosene. This thing will be very loud, so will test run in the industrial area, EnZed in Bayswater said i can do a test run with the Skuld and the JU-1 so that will be grate as not to far from were i live. Johns 12/118 engine is loud to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J29zgn7xv6g&t=43s Just after this run a chap pulled up in his car and was chatting with John about his engine and said he can hear it at his place which is about 3 KMs away
