Hi Tuomas,
Another piece of high quality equipment you have made a real nice job of.
I don't know why someone like Bosch or Makita has not offered you a job.I think you would be in your element designing and prototyping machinery aids for small workshops.
You make this stuff look so easy.
I would like to make one myself but the Evolution 2200W x 355mm saws are not cheap out down here.
I see them at $500 plus, but I guess with your handy frame it could well be a game changer for the saw in a small DIY workshop.

Thank you Grahame.
Yep. Those are somewhat pricey. That rage 1b 185mm saw is 149€ here, with blade. Blade only costs 37€.
Max rpm for the blade is 4000rpm.
Most of the never circular saws runs over 5000rpm. But, older ones like, Black & decker hd 1000 ,runs only 3200rpm.

I found one at the flea market with 20€. It works nicely with 185mm evolution blade. I got another metal cutting saw with 57€. Also i like that adjustments and sturdiness of the HD1000 is way better than Evolution saw.
Btw. I made a pair of clamps, one is for this another one for the drill press.
Body is is bend from 25 x 25 square.
It has a swivel on the middle so, when finger screw is tightened it presses other end against the work piece.

Movable jaw is made from two same sized washers, with different sized holes that are weld together around the outer edge.

Both ends of the pipe are nuts, pressed inside the pipe and then weld together. Tightening screw and movable jaw are connected to this part.

It goes this way to the saw stand.

Hi Tuomas,
That,s a super idea for the floating washer. It will translate nicely to some G Clamps that need fixing in my shed.
The 1000 rpm B &D would be a good find if there are any that have made their way down under.
Thanks for posting the extra info.
