    WW2 in PNG and Tech. school at Yallourn.

    Do you have a date for the Yallourn photo? I was born in the Yallourn hospital and did my apprentice schooling at Yallourn TAFE (formally Yallourn Tech)
    Built: a Bench,a Desk,an Archery Display,

    Those were the droids I was looking for.

    It is a State Library of Victoria pic.... pre-war 1930s I think.

    Not quite the same era, but takes me back to the 80's when I first visited the government Ordnance and Ammunition factories.

    They do look rather serious.

    The lathe in pic2 with the group of RAAF trainees is a 1930s Colchester geared head Master or Triumph.
