Radio factory in 1925
An interesting film of a radio factory in the USA circa 1925. This particular radio brand made their own components in house including the screws.
This chap hosting has a regular Sat. night live broadcast showing radio history films. The film begins at the 23 min. mark

Morse key
Still have my Clipsal Morse key. Clipsal were still manufacturing the brass post office type Morse keys right up until the 1980s , well after the PMG hand telegraph systems were closed down. A few radio hams were still buying the Clipsal keys but some years back the Morse proficiency exam for the ham license was dropped and the exams are now run by clubs anyway. When I did the exams , it was all run by the Federal Dept of Communications, we were all tested for Morse receiving and sending at 14 wpm I think it was.
