Rex King Power Hacksaw Help
Hello all,
I recently acquired an old rex king model 35pgp
It cuts and the coolant pump works as well,
i have a few questions as to the lift,
i looks like it used to have a lift function that used a roller on a cam thats timed with the motor.
the eye bolt attached to what i assume to the lift linkage looks aftermarket or at lease too short?. i was wondering if anyone knows where to find a manual that i could buy or maybe pictures of one of these machines lift mechanism. im not sure of orientation or placement.
I have also read different posts saying some of these saws cut on either forward or back stroke, and some poeple modify them to cut on the back stroke.
Is there a way to tell other than obvious signs that it may be out of place?
Attached are some pics of what im talking about,
thank you for any info or advice!
