    Default "Lusty" Metal Type 2

This is another job I am halfway thru completing. Unfortunately it is now buried behind the shaper (Oh dear Oh dear). Guess I will have to get the shaper into service before I can complete the slotter. Regards to all. Norm

Thanks for the pics of your slotter. What is the machine behind the slotter with the red paint on it????

Thats a band-saw I have been cleaning up. I stripped the crap and corrosion inside and out, etch primed and have gone over that with a red primer. I need to clean up a wee bit more then on with the two pot epoxy. Once that is done I will separate the base from the top section and add some heavy duty castors so I can vary the position of the saw depending on the lengths of material and cuts I will be doing. Did not want to bring this side job up in the vintage iron forum. Regards all. Norm
