Default Photos of some of my model engines

I originally posted this as a reply to a thread by Jim Ferrous in the Members Video forum but the attachments appeared not to work so I'll try posting them here.

    G'day Jim,
I don't have photos of all my engines but here's a few of them.

This is my little Renown 101 which was a bit of a wreck when I first got it with nearly every seam melted open after being run dry at some point in time.
I completely stripped and resoldered it then made a new burner from a couple of welsh plugs.

This is an Ernst Plank Ideal engine. This one was in really good condition when I got it and only needed a new wooden handle for the whistle and a good clean.

This is a vacuum or flame eater engine made by the Rotor Corporation of America in Dayton Ohio.
This one was also in good nick and only needed a clean up.
There's a video of it running here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuKVD3XWcdM

This one is not technically a model but an actual working steam engine from a popcorn wagon.

The story of this one is documented here:

    Cheers,
    Greg.

A very good find with the "Popcorn" engine.
If you are keen enough almost any thing is possible.
I was thinking you might have packed it in the white towels to transport home, even if it meant excess baggage fees.
Perhaps one day I will be fortunate enough to see it.
