What Is This?
G’day I’m wondering what this is? All I can see is that’s it’s AEG. What is it? What does it do? I was talking to the old bloke that owns it and he has no idea either. Sorry for the bad photos it’s in a cramped space.

Scrap
It looks like part of a custom build, incomplete, and only of use as scrap metal.
Mind you, there may be some useful scrap there.
Cheers

Looks like some sort of drilling setup to me, the last pic is showing a limit switch and multi position turret stop. Also seems to be some sort of swarf/fume extraction hood on it as well. As mentioned above, only real use now is parts or a as boat anchor.

That looks suspiciously like a breach or stock boring machine for gunsmithing work.
I could be wrong, otherwise some sort of custom horizontal borer

wit
this looks similar to machines called an end former, metal pipe would feed in from the front of the machine would be heated them a round tool would be pushed in from the other end and form the end of the heated tube like a flare and pull back out ,very common in car manufacturing power steering ,brakes ect
