why did the production line workers wear ties?
also the router at 10:03...the commentator said it spun at an astronomical rate of rpm's yet it looks like a standard TEFC motor..or are they brushes at the top of motor??

Ties
The English have a thing for ties. My ex neighbour told me as a 16 year old appremtice at a power station in the early 1960s , he wore a tie . Ties were worn when gardening , fishing and just about any outdoor activity . Times have changed though, its less formal these days.
