Do these have Mazda style oil injector or oil mix type system for seal lubrication? Did these Sachs sell in big numbers?

No oil injector, just oil petrol mix. for lubrication of seals and bearings. There were 30,000 of the 303s Sachs engines built as for the KM 24, 37 and 48 engines i guess several thousand units were made they were use for outboard motors, motorcycles, chainsaws, lawn mowers, light air craft. snowmobiles.pumps, and generators. They come for sale now and again on ebay.
Cheers,
Mark.

Ah you poor man!
When these motors first hit the streets I was in awe of them in cars sweet sounding Mazda. Friend of mothers had one in the first 3 months it was more in the dealers workshop than on the road.
These days I hear the familiar sound along the near by highway of a fellow taking his Rotary for a spin that lumpy sound still the same.

I saw one of the prototype BMW bikes with this engines in the very late 60s or 1970 at the IFMA in Cologne, Germany. It was fitted into a BMW 250 single frame, attached directly to the BMW gearbox and rear drive - in a frame shape not dissimilar to the Hercules you show above. I thought it was a ripper idea - alas it never went to production....

Yes there was a lot of ideas floating around back then on what the rotary can be used on, the engines i have are ~23 HP and hardly any vibration compared to a piston engine. Here is a vid of a KM 48 engine i had and you can see it not shaking all over the place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvG8M_z6Y08&t=14s

There's not a lot of moving parts in that motor is there, unlike a conventional two stroke motor.

I had a good read on the manual last night and did a test on the fuel pump,as what the manual was saying to do. I knew the pump was a bit dodgy the vale was sticking and these units are sealed so you can not repair them so replace with a new pump and BINGO shes up and running No need to replace the points, condenser shes running real sweet Got a short vid of the engine at idle will make a better vid once i tidy up the wring.

I tidy up the wiring and hook up a kill switch, as you can see in this vid there is fuel dripping out of the over flow pipe when at idle.I'm not show why this is happening
