Hi all
Hi all my name is Dhug...its the Gaelic spelling of Doug....I am in Scotland and I am a retired Engineer having served my time with G&J Weir/ Weir Pumps in Cathcart Glasgow. I went on to serve as an Engineering Officer in the Merchant Navy for ?????? years...I eventually came back shoreside and held various Engineering jobs THEN....I got headhunted back to Weirs (Clyde Union) bought by a lad I served my time with Jim McCall. The reason I got headhunted back was that they are still making the TWL Not a superheated steam driven one but, a saturated steam driven variant. With a redesigned Turbine Wheel and a radial Nozzle box...I was not because I had any specialist knowledge apart from working with Superheated Steam it was because most of the others who had worked on earlier variants were either retired or playing a harp....

Welcome to the Mad House Dhug!
As Salvator Dahi once most famously said: "The only difference between me and a madman is that I'm not mad."
