    Default hello from banksia Sydney

    hello im Dan.
im a mature (well not too mature ) aged 3rd year apprentice mechanic, been a chef for 25 years and got sick of having black hands on monday service after working on race cars all weekend

i started doing motorsport fabrication a couple of nights a week through tafe and left when my son was born (and the class was cancelled), recently got a mig welder and a few basic fab tools to help with my project car build.
im building a 2005 ba xr6 falcon to a 1000hp turbo six for racing.

with the recent purchase of gear, im looking to get into some on the side metal furniture fabrication (mainly to upgrade our shocking bunnings outdoor gear) set up an outdoor kitchen area and maybe some furniture to sell. i've found most projects are woodwork based so i'd love to find some metal inspirations to go off, love woodwork but....

cheers for the add and hope to show some future work off
