    Default Cheers !

    Hi,

    Chris here.

Many thanks for allowing me to join the forum, there's certainly some well experienced folk here.

I'm semi-retired and enjoy tinkering in the shed, often making special parts for my Moke (or my friends !). When I'm not in there, the only other thing I enjoy more is touring the Outback - in the Moke of course.

    Cheers guys and Gals,
    Chris

Welcome to the forum, Chris !

Is that your Moke catching someair?

My brother had a yellow Moke Californian (12" wheels) as a project car. Installed oversized front discs, Cooper S drivetrain, including hacking in the gearbox long remote shift casting. Then Garrett T4 turbocharged the motor.

It was in our garage more than it was on the road

We have great bunch here very helpful and supportive of one another. You will find many like minded folk here with same interests as you.

If you explore our pages you will find bits and pieces of interesting things all over the place.

Go to the FORUM box at top LH corner and click on it.

A drop down menu appears and you can select Forum Home at the top of the drop down menu list. click and Scan down through the pages to look at what we have.

Please make sure read the Terms of Use -our Rules - TOU's - pretty standard for many forums these days.By joining the forum its automatic that they apply to you as a member.

Normally the soft ware works so you can't post pics or links until 10 posts are made ( or such links and pics are cleared by a mod)

    Its anti spam thing.

    Cheers guys

Graham, thanks for your formal intro to the forum and what I'm likely to find here .

I made the point of reading the TOU before joining, as some forums do have strange terms (not this one though).

I do have one question re: Photobucket. I don't use that platform for hosting Photos, but do use Imjur. Before I post anything here, I don't wish to break the Forum's rules but want to check if this is OK ?

I use a Hosting Site for photos, mainly because I am on a few other forums and so instead of up-loading the same photo 6 zillion times (true, no exaggeration !), I only need do so once.

I am an Administrator on another forum, so I get where you're coming from.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi Nigel !

I'm sorry to say, no, that's not actually mine, but there is a story as to why I use that as an avatar, all the same, I have had my Moke in similar positions over the years, it 'just happens' .

Hhehehehe,,,, I get your brother's (former) Moke, that would have been quite some fun !! I've had many Minis as well as Moke over the last 40 something years. While I've never been inclined to soup up any of the Mokes, I have had a few cooking Minis. I still have a couple of Minis but I'm a bit over crawling around inside them doing the odd jobs they need, so I have been moving them on.
