G'day from Hungary
Good day sirs
My name is Ferenc (Feri). I am an electrical engineer and work at a university in a departmental engineering position (I do not teach). I live in Budapest, Hungary. I have always loved metal and woodworking machines, my father made parquet, paneling and some furniture for our house on the woodworking machines he made, so I got used to the noise of the machines as a child. Continuing the tradition, I set up a small workshop for myself and managed to buy some scrapped machines from the industry. Lathe, milling machine, grinding machine ...
I found this forum by searching the net for information on repairing an old surface grinding machine. I received this machine as a gift from my friend, partially disassembled. Need to be renovated. At first, I didn't even know what kind of factory the machine was made, because there were no signs or inscriptions on it. But from the photos of the machines here, I learned that it is a Brown and Sharpe No.2 surface grinder.
I will want to ask the experts about this when I repair the machine.
