    Default G'day from Mandurah, WA

Hi everyone, I'm Rusty and I found this forum while searching online for info about TIG welders.

I'd call myself a hobbyist fabricator and I've always had an interest in 'building stuff'. I've built and raced 2 drag cars, modified my car trailer, built a big shed on the side of my smaller shed, modified my camper trailer, etc...you get the picture. I'm guessing my story is similar to a lot of you guys.

Keen to get into some aluminium fabrication, mostly for myself, hence the interest in an AC/DC TIG welder and never having TIG welded before, learning as much as I can about it now, via YouTube, mainly. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a dual traded Instrument Electrical technician but now I work as a Technical Writer and I also run my own photography business.

I'm married with 2 kids and 3 grand kids. In my spare time I cycle and go prospecting.

Keen to learn and get involved with some shed projects I have in the pipeline, so hopefully I can contribute something to the forum.

Is the anyone else on the forum from the Mandurah area....would be good to meet with some locals.

    regards
    rusty...
