G'Day from Torquay, Vic. Australia
Thanks for having me on this esteemed forum
. I restore British vintage and classic motorcycles. I have recently done an upgrade of my workshop and that includes graduating from my lovely old Myford ML7 which I have used for 25 years. It just wasn't big enough for some of the tasks I presented.
I now have a Standaco LAM 350-B which I have refurbished and added a quick change and a DRO. As it has an imperial lead screw and wide selection of thread cutting options it suits what I do very well.
I have also added a ZX-40A Mill which I purchased new. My old Myford had a vertical mill attachment however this is a new ballgame to me. I'm enjoying the expanded range of things I can do (or make a mess of) I'm looking forward to benefitting from those on the forum with years of experience.
