Howdy
Greetings,
I'm totally new to working on metal. I come from a background in electronics. By trade, I'm a software engineer. I've been with the same large corporation for 21 years. My degree is in electronics, but that's just a hobby at this point. Recently I found myself working on some wood projects, but what I really wanted to do was build them with metal. I signed up for a mig class at my local trade school, ordered a welder. I'm hoping to learn from what I find here.
In addition to electronics, I'm into shooting and scuba diving for hobbies.

Hi Kelemvor
Welcome to our MetalForum. We are mainly Aussies but have members from all over the world.
There's plenty of sub forums that may interest you.
Here is how to have a look around.
Go to the highlighted Forum box -the one with the little arrow pointing down,
at the top LH of the page,
click the box and a drop menu will appear,
choose Forum Home and a a page appears ,
scroll down the page and all our Sub forums are there
click on any one of them to see what is in that particular sub Forum.
If you have any problems I might help with, send me a PM
Cheers
Grahame
