About time I introduced myself, lurked around ww forum for a while.

Wannabe model engineer
Fixer of domestic stuff
Has-been blacksmith
Accumulator of 'stock' and 'projects '
I have a 9x20 lathe plus a Drummond b-type; 6x26 mill; 6x4 horizontal bs; drill press, oxy/acetylene with Dillon torch, tig/plasma, plus a few ww tools - triton saw, mitre saw, bandsaw etc. All jammed in a 10x17 (ft) shed...
Some older kids, some younger kids, so not much spare time! Work in IT .
Live in Eastern suburbs of Melbourne..

Hi Phillip and welcome to the mob.
You will fit in just fine here well with the rest of the tool- a- holics.
Theres a wide range of members with some amazing skills and interests.
Don't be shy, jump in with post and tell us what you are up to at at the moment.
There are plenty of appropriate sub forums to choose from.
Its a good place to learn, ask questions and also help new comers to metals engineering.
