Looking to sell this series 2a Landrover station wagon.

Just thought I would post it here before it goes to Bendigo swap meet in November.
My understanding is that they used these to move the brass around on exercise. Obviously the aluminium bodywork is all fine, no dings at all, but the paint is as you can see, very bad (they original green is actually really on there pretty well but someones old grey topcoat is wrecked).
I and my father just have too many projects and half have to go. It had a busted head gasket between 1 & 2, this has been completely redone, head ground and the valves all synchroseated, The interior has been reupholstered sometime in the past, its actually pretty good.

It has some nice extras like a fairey overdrive, and salisbury rear diff, with extra rare mechanical diff lock, which i think is a MacNamara.

It does have rust in the bottom of the A pillar both sides, replacements are available, apart from that it is an extremely straight, original example that hasn't been flogged to death on every track between here and Queensland.

Located Mornington Peninsula, Victoria PM me for contact details, looking for $5500 firm from forum members $6000 for a stranger.

In case anyone is interested also looking to lose the yellow Peugeot 203 utility shown (Extremely rare), a 1960 AP3 chysler royal v8, Manual XJ6 (with O/D)
