Alan Millyard installed an 8 litre V10 into a bike frame and ran over 200 mph (320 kph) so this one should be a doddle in comparison.

Remove the tappets and cam shaft, they are the same as in the first engine i strip down. My thinking it will look like this one in the photo, anyway the tappets look to be in good shape and so those the cam shaft all good for spares Did a mock up of the block and goldwing frame, will need to stretch the frame a bit but i think it's doable Just purchase Moto Guzzi gearbox housing for mock ups and measurements purposes as well.

Started media blasting the heads with walnut shells, not good need high pressure so change over to glass beads and WOW!! cleans up very nicely I found on 3 of the heads so far there is a split, hole on the inlet side there is a shim that is place over that area which may seal it the split hole the hole breaks thru the push rod hole.

i don't think those holes really need to be sealed as the rocker area and the pushrod tube are both common to the oily side of the engine. probably a bit of core shift + soviet quality.

After about 6 months i finally received my Tatra motor and block with crank, cam shaft, oil pan and timing chain cover plus some other bits. The motor has 50 hours run time on it, this type of motor is use on gen sets and has a bit more higher compression uses a single carburetor and a mechanical speed controller which has been remove.
