    Default Jumping Jeeps

    Filmed in Australia , the ute in the background is a 1941 Pontiac masonite ute, assembled by GMH with a wartime austerity body , canvas top cab. I had one of these utes back in 1981 , the ute tub was made from masonite and wooden framework. A rare vehicle less that 200 were built. The wife parking the car ..hah

    Thanks for that short clip, not what I'd call caring for the environment like we do NOW.
    I'm amazed that the bloke was able to crawl out when he "parked" the Jeep.
    They were bred tough in those days.

    I remember my father telling the story about a Jeep dropping the tailshaft on the Sydney Harbour Bridge flipping over and killing the driver.
    We were working on my first car and it had a hoop for the tailshaft.
