Just had a 30" generic china made sheet metal bender delivered from ebay australia

Using a cupon code i landed thisbender for $95.19 it was originally $123.99

the ebay item number 354192303689 being sold by user "Banresto"

Think it had a 20% discount and a $5 discount

According to the advert, it's 1.2mm, but to be honest I think 1mm would be its MAX, in steel, aluminium could be 1.5mm.

Thickness is only limited by the bar that clamps down the sheet, it's a thick bar but youtube video's suggest the center of the bar moves as u bend a sheet

From what i watched on youtube guy's were reinforcing the flat bar with square tubing but i think replacing the flat bar all together would be better

Maybe use some really thick angle iron and lay it over the sheet in a "A" form and clamp it down

My last homemade sheet metal bender feel's very similar in weight both being similar in size, my home made bender was made from 10mm angle iron and that bent 2.5mm aluminium sheet very easy

I will test this one when it stops raining on some aluminium 2.5mm
