Default Alba 4s shaper in need of saving

Alba 4s shaper which I came across recently in some travels
    Located in Burpengary east
At a quick look seem ok but didn't get much chance to look too thoroughly
    Needs saving from the weather.

This is located at a business premise and preferably dont want these guys pestered unless you are serious about it - PM for details

I wish I could find one like that here in the UK, and they are/were made here ! There's no chance, you can bet that they have all ended up being melted down for steel production. Or shipped to India or China for them to melt it and ship the steel back to us for lots more than its worth !

I remember as a child watching the local Iron foundry blast furnace, belching smoke and flames into the night air ! A memorable sight.
    Best Regards:
    Baron J.

If someone goes and rescues this shaper- and I sincerely hope someone does- they should see if the owner still has the vice kicking around, perhaps on another machine in their workshop. I watched (online) the 3 shaper vices at the Treg auction each go for close to $500 today.

I contacted the business today and the boss man is out of town until Wednesday. They sound keen.

hello People, I contacted the firm today and it turns out to be the father of the owner of the business. He want to restore it. All good. It will be moved back into a shed tomorrow.
