Default BoxFord Shaper in Hillarys, W.A.

BoxFord 8" shaper with a swizel table. $2000.00 Pictures seem to indicate (to me, who also has the same machine) that it is not being used.

The position of the crossfeed setting in photograph 5 seems to be wrong.

Access to the motor compartment is cramped. If you buy it, I recommend putting in some fans to keep the motor cool, as mine gets quite hot, or at least an opening to let a bit of air in, as there is no real venting to the motor compartment. Obviously designed for an "English" climate!

I have been in communication with the vendor. It has metric dials, so it is a metric machine. He is replacing it with another shaper. He said he is "testing the waters" with the price, so he may be negotiable.
