That's not unusual. When I do an ebay search I often sort by price and look at the highest and lowest prices. Some of the high end prices are indeed ridiculous. A couple of years back I was looking for some stainless fasteners and the difference between the low and high price for the same thing was a factor of almost 100x. I was looking at nickel strip spot welders yesterday and for the same circuit board the lo-hi price difference was a factor of 10.

Useful websites for locating second-hand books
This thread has reminded me that it may be useful for members here if I share a couple of online tools I use for locating second-hand and/or out-of-print books.
"Books and Collectibles" (https://booksandcollectibles.com.au/...ral_search.php) searches the books for sale at most Australian (and some overseas) second-hand book dealers, and one can place an order with the dealer via this website.
"Addall" (https://www.addall.com/used/) is a world-wide version of Books and Collectibles. It also has a function for searching for new books.
I try to restrain my book buying tendencies, but I suppose there are worse addictions !
