TU3008 Lathe
I have one of these, before you buy any lather from H&F or other supplier, have them remove the tail stock from the ways and inspect it for machining. Mine looks to have been ground with an angle grinder.
I read the hype about Deutsche Engineers overseeing the Chinese Makers building these lathes, sucked in, they must have stepped out on a extended lunch break drinking caffee and eating brotchen when mine was assembled
The lathe is noisy, more so then the bigger older Herless I have. The comment about H&F not checking the machines before being sent, dont know what other states are doing, know that mine was inspected, was there when they were doing it, removing the shipping oil and replacing it with fresh oil.
