    Default 1903-A3 Floor plate release

evening folks , wondering if anyone has made a floor plate release button for a 03-A3 ? I'd like to make one for mine ( it was spoterized when I bought it 40 years ago ) so wondering if there ia a drawing somewhere with dimensions . with this new CA law of no more lead anymore ,I would like to be able to just pop a button to release the rounds for a warden instead
of having him slamming my bolt back & forth .
    thanks

You may have more luck on an American forum. Our gun laws are very different to Americas.
    Built: a Bench,a Desk,an Archery Display,

Those were the droids I was looking for.

    Hi animal,
    Welcome to the MetalWork Forums,

The majority here are Aussies so it should not come as a surprise that the gunsmithing forum deals with firearms common down under.

I would surmise that any Australian 1903 -A3 Remington 30-06 Springfields would be extremely rare outside of specialised collectors.

As NCArcher recommends try your American sites for parts.

    Cheers

    Grahame

This book has everything you ever wanted to know & more on the 1903 Springfield bolt action rifle.

    https://www.abebooks.com/book-search...service-rifle/

I have a copy but it's packed away with all the other reference works I haven't needed in years and I'm some 1300km from home ATM anyway, so can't help further.
