    Default foundry work or art

    Very nice Vin. At first I thought the clapper would miss the bell, then realized that the sphere is the bit you hang on to. What metal did you use?

    Labr@ , the bell is bell metal 80%copper and 20% tin, the clapper and the knob are cast from scrap brass called Heinz

    This was poured yesterday, its not yet tuned and is the final bell for my carillon. and this bell goes about 100kgs.

    So it's one of the bronzes - the colour had me wondering if it was pewter.

    As for the last bell for the carillon, it may not be tuned yet but it sure sounds good on my tablet speaker.
