That was certainly different. It is like an oil well drilling tower with a winch being used for percussion work.
When they start forging the edges, you can see the the hammer guide flexing one way.
It is really a pretty backwards way of forging. I would say there would have been hydraulic presses available to do that sort of work a hundred years ago. And churn out the work much faster with less people.Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.
