Default For all the Shapeoholics out there

Some years ago I sent details of my shaper off to Kay Fisher at NEMES who put it in his shaper page
Kay Fisher's Metal Shaper Column 66
I got an email today from Kay

You are getting this email because at some time in the past you have either contributed to the Metal Shaper column or you have expressed an interest in it.

It is my intention to only use this email list to notify you of the availability of the Metal Shaper books and possibly any changes in their availability.

If you want your name removed from this list just let me know.

    ========================================================

My edited book “Metal Shapers” is finally available.

Over the period of 16 years there have been over 140 articles published in the shaper column of the NEMES Gazette (The newsletter of the New England Model Engineering Society). This book contains all those columns published and in some cases updated and corrected.

There are three versions available on Lulu.com

The printed versions are 542 pages long on 8.5” x 11’ paper.

    ebook version at $4
Black and White version at $12
    Color version at $35

Full disclosure. If I can sell just over 30 copies I make enough to pay for my two copies )

Just go to Lulu.com and search for “Metal Shapers” or “Kay Fisher” and you should find all three versions.

If you would be so kind to pass this information on to other interested metal workers I would greatly appreciate it.

    Respectfully,
    Kay Fisher

Well, yes - buying the book is probably the general idea. However, here are the first 67 of them

    Micheal,
It seems our Mr. Fisher has taken your kind act as an open invitation to join our MetalWork Forum and in his very first post promoted his book.
This post was in General Metalwork Forum. I have since moved his post to the appropriate forum with a bit of a light admonition to him.

Had it not been for your post here-trying to do the right thing by him - I might well have treated it as spam, which technically it is, and deleted the post and registered it as spam.

It is worth mentioning that that one of our members C-47 has paid his $4 and tried to download the Ebook but was unable to open it.

I see a fair few of this type of post where these people join, post and will be never seen or heard from again, once they get what they want.

General members don't see most of these posts as they are reported and deleted fairly rapidly.

If there is any further discussion re that particular post, can we do it in OFF TOPIC Forum please?

    Grahame
