Just asking ? No offense intended.

    Grahame,
I just recently watched a video of an Australian setting up a Sip jig borer and I've also watched many Click Spring videos. From reading other forum posts I got the impression that it was a bit difficult to find precision tools down there. Having been in the trade more than 50 years I have some things that need a new home. Also liking to share machining tips and pics of projects from present and past. After I saw in my first post the great big in red letters OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA I'm sure I messed up by clicking that selection. I thought it referred to my location not the area of potential sale. As I did want to advertise this item to fellow machinist's in your country can you as moderator remove my big red mistake?
    Thank You

    hi Bob,

The location indicator is correct as we use it for the purpose of a potential buyer using it to decide whether local pickup ( if they may live nearby) is possible or not.

I had to be careful in my wording of the post to you. In the past we have had those who run commercial businesses trying to sell their products in our Forums using our free advertising to members.
That impinges on the paid advertising agreements that the Forum owner has with those commercial entities.

Its clear in the rules which new members are encouraged to read before posting. Many don't and get banned or suspended when they make a post contrary to certain rules.

In your case its perfectly fine as it is obvious that while you have a business its quite in order to dispose of of certain surplus to requirements equipment or tooling, lets say.

We have a welcome wagon Forum so its possible for you to make a post there.a write up of your experience and shop, introducing you to the members, would go a long way. Posting there not only makes members aware of you amd your skills but also indicates they are are dealing with a
    bona fide individual.

Here is some forum navigation help for you:

Go to the FORUM box at top LH corner and click on it.

A drop down menu appears and you can select Forum Home at the top of the drop down menu list. Scan down through the pages to look at what we have.

Please make sure read the Terms of Use -our Rules - at the top of the scroll down page- pretty standard for many forums these days.By joining the forum its automatic that they apply to you as a member.

Sometimes the soft ware works so you can't post pics or links until 10 posts are made ( or such links and pics are cleared by a mod) Thats what drew my attention to the original post as links or pics usually require mod approval within the fist ten posts.

    Its anti spam thing.

There's a number of sub forums forum that might be parallel with your interests, found as described above.

If any questions contact me via PM or online and I'll try to help you.

By all means, lets then make it clear that those item are also available to Australians.

Participation as member with all your experience in the trade is welcomed. There are many of us whom with
limited machining experience who would benefit from your knowledge.

    Welcome to the Forums
    Grahame
