Default Small (heavy) CVA 75 lathe for sale

I'm reluctantly divesting my workshop of my smaller lathe....
It is an old CVA75 rebuilt to a centre lathe by me in the early 70s, based on the construction of a Myford 10.
See CVA Miniature Precision Lathes for details of the original.
I fitted a 0.5Hp clutch and brake motor (from an industrial sewing machine) and arranged it to run when pressing the foot bar down and brake when you lift your foot. At the time, that was the safest way to work for me. There is ample space to fit a 1.5Hp 3-phase motor and VFD in the original locations of either the original motor or gearbox - neither survived before I found the lathe.
It weighs in the order of 2 or 300kg.
Centre height (radius) 100mm over bed, 60mm over cross slide, 400mm between centres. There is a small bed gap to allow 240mm turning on the faceplate only.
No thread turning or auto feed, but an ideal candidate for an ELS.
Comes with a 160mm dia. 3-jaw chuck (no internal jaws, sorry, never found any), 200mm faceplate, CVA/Hardinge collet holder and 12 collets, MT2 spindle adapter, rear tool post, 13mm tailstock drill chuck and large fixed steady.
Also included is a parting off tool and a turning tool to suit the 4-position tool holder. I can throw in a 125mm dia. chuck backing plate too.

I'm hoping for $1000. PM me, please.
